Hello Creative friends!  

This is the part of the web site where I get to greet you and tell you all Welcome!  and I get share a little bit about myself.  

I stated recently for a Magazine bio, that I am BOY CRAZY! What that really means is I am the mother of 5 sons and have been parenting Teenagers for over twenty years! If that's not enough to make you crazy.... Well then... I don't know what is! ((GRIN))  

That's where the painting comes in....  To escape into the safe "pretty" world of Decorative Painting is a great relief in my soccer sweat, dirt digging, broken dish world of male ego's...  I love my sons... almost always..(wink) But painting provides a voice for that all too often stifled creative side of me!    

I grew up as a middle child between ...you guessed it two brothers.... sigh...  Dad was in the Army which made me a....You guessed it again an Army BRAT!  all caps there.... It also meant that we had White walls and Army Furniture...  and lived in houses that were all the same... As a result....  I am passionate about home decor and feel it is our way to create a haven for our families. You don't buy your soul from Superstores   so I definitely think you shouldn't create you home from there either. Combining store bought with custom pieces in colors that say who you are is the ticket... color expresses us better than most mediums...  I even go thru color moods.. sometimes it is so nice to delve into the world of pink for a granddaughter... (yes finally girls!) Or celebrate a holiday with wild abandon and create keepsakes that family will cherish forever!  

I invite you to explore the site and discover what mood you are in right now...   Many people think painting is something you can't do unless you are born with some gift...  It isn't true...  Decorative painting is learned skill set ,not a gift, not a talent, not something you were born with. You can easily re-create any piece of art as you learn these skills. The patterns offered on this site are step by step instructions to re-create the art you see.

They are both going to help ORGANIZE ME!  Yikes.. what a word! They both have an excellent sense of organization and are energetically digging in to make sense of life on the office side of my business!

Orders will be filled as they come in .. (What a concept) I know there are some of you who are cheering! And I will get to sleep at night instead of burning my candle at both ends! This addition will allow me to focus on more DVD's and more PAINTING! Yeah!
